The Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals has announced that the 2014 annual report of the Yarmouthport–based International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW) is the winner of a 2015 Hermes Creative Award. IFAW teamed with Alison Caron Design to create its annual report.
Owner and chief designer of Alison Caron Design, with an office above Puritan Cape Cod, on Main Street, Hyannis, Alison Caron has experience in all areas of graphic design, including magazine art direction, website design, advertising, branding, and marketing. Caron prepared the annual report for distribution in Australia, France, Germany, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom as well as in the United States. Addressing the international competition, Caron said, "It’s a great honor to join IFAW in receiving this Platinum Award. This was the first annual report I had done, which makes this recognition from my peers doubly rewarding."
"The Hermes Creative Awards," according to the Hermes Awards website, "is an international competition for creative professionals involved in the concept, writing, and design of both traditional materials and programs and emerging technologies." Entries come from corporate marketing and communication departments, advertising agencies, PR firms, graphic design shops, production companies, web and digital creators and freelancers.
